Juror’s Bio: Christopher Cutts was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised predominately in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He studied at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas before founding Christopher Cutts Gallery in Toronto in 1986. The gallery has been operating in its current location for 29 years. Christopher Cutts Gallery’s program includes estates of historically significant post WWII Canadian artists, most notably 5 members of the Painters 11 group. Additionally, Christopher represents established senior Canadian artists (such as Michel Goulet, Ron Martin, and Michael Snow), mid-career and emerging artists from Canada and overseas. The Christopher Cutts Gallery is committed to the development and growth of contemporary culture, both domestically and abroad.
