To celebrate, the Aird Gallery is holding an exhibition showcasing work by contemporary Canadian Artists. This show will explore the theme of cats in their roles as domesticated animals but also in their roles as mythic symbols of sexuality, divinity and magic.
The Cat Show invites entries of cat themed work of all kinds from artists at all stages of their careers.
Works in any medium will be considered, keeping in mind that dimensions can be no greater than 50.8 cm (20 inches) in any direction. This broad definition is intended to open the exhibition to entries reflecting a wide variety of contemporary techniques and practices.

Opening Reception: Thursday, Sept 12, 6 to 8 pm
Deadline to apply: Friday, Aug 24, 2019
Jurying: Between Aug 27 and 31, 2019
