The Aird Gallery will be vacating the Macdonald Block Complex in Queen’s Park for the next eight years due to reconstruction. We would be glad to see you before we part ways for a while. Like a friendly neighbour, we have been happy to call the Macdonald Block our home for over 30 years. Over those three decades, the Aird has been a community builder: partnering with arts organizations; advancing their objectives and supporting diversity; delighting people who work in the building; and offering a space for rest and reflection during their busy work lives. We need your support more than ever in our search for an interim space, allowing us to continue our mission over the next several years before we return to Macdonald Block.
You can help in several ways:
We are a registered charity and we can receive donations via CanadaHelps. Charity No: 85850 5191 RR0001
Write to our local MPP, Toronto Centre, Suze Morrison or City Councillor and ask them to help the Aird find an interim space. Please download a letter template. Feel free to personalize the letter and advocate for the gallery.
The Aird is one of the remaining few public galleries in Toronto, and we need your support so that the public does not lose another important cultural amenity in our city.
